I felt like every since I met her, she always treated me as family. She felt like a real aunt to me. I wasn’t treated differently because I was not her blood. She loved me and my family and took care of us during parties. Always making sure we were comfortable and making sure that we had something to eat. She even went as far as making me a special dishes and not letting anyone eat any of it until I arrived and got some. She will forever be in our hearts and in our prayers. 

Lola Leby was definitely a ray of sunshine, especially with that bright smile of hers.  As many said she was "Mommy" to all and "Lola" to many.  She was loved dearly and will be missed.  Rest in peace, Lola.  Love you!!!

My Lola Leby was always one to light up an entire room. I will miss her contagious smile, her “never take life too seriously” mentality, and most of all, her sweet hugs and love for all those around her. My Lola Leby and I don’t share the same blood, but that never stopped her from loving me as if that meant anything. She held me before I could walk, cheered for me at my basketball games, and watched me grow up into the woman I am today. They say you can’t choose your family, but my Lola chose me. She chose me and my family. And I know that’s all glory to God. God placed my Lola in my life for a reason and for a purpose and for that I am immensely blessed.

Someone once told me that the loss of a loved one is like a ripple effect to those around them. I know this isn’t a goodbye, and even though my Lola is no longer walking this earth, I see her smile and love in all of those around me. In the midst of such a loss, I’m grateful for the time and precious memories I got to have with my Lola and the impact on my life she will forever have. So, never take life too seriously friends. Don’t fight over silly things and love on others despite your differences with them. Hold tight to those you love. Life is short and you can never spend too much time with your loved ones. What you say to one another matters. How you treat one another matters. How you love others matters

Librada Pascual Bautista, also known as Levy. Her grandkids, like me, call her Lola, her three kids call her mommy. And Rafael (her husband) referred to her as “his roommate,” my girl, or that crazy lady. But to everyone she was mom or Lola.
 if you look around this room, you see people of different blood lines. But if Lola looked around this room she’d only see family. This is the kind of woman she was. She welcomed anyone and everyone into her home and into her heart. It didn’t matter if you just walked through her front door for the first time. She was your mom, she was your Lola. And she gave you baon on your way out. 
The reason Librada touched so many people is due to her dynamic and colorful personality. In the same breath she could make you feel so special then insult you. I’m sure we can all remember one time or another where Lola expressed how much she loved you then said you gained weight. 
She was a living fire. Dazzling energy. Spunky and upbeat. She had a lot of class and a lot of sass. But she was also very soft. She had the softest skin. She was kindhearted & openhanded. You found home in her eyes and love in her arms. Comfort in her smile. 
I always looked at Lola as immortal. Maybe it’s because as we grew older she only became more spunky, fiery, & sharp. Maybe it’s cause she never skipped a beat. Or maybe it’s because she’s the strongest woman any of us have ever met. Even in her last days, she never complained, but instead showered her family with endless love yous. on her last day she laughed at our jokes and gave me a shimmy dance. 
Even though she’s now dancing with Jesus, I haven’t felt like she’s really left. Because I see Lola in each of us. Everything she loved. Everything she shared. Everything she hoped for. Everything she was. Everything she became. Everything she held. Everything we are now. Everything we will be. 

She is mom, she is Lola, she is Lolos girl. She is ours and we are hers.

A beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. She was my mother's best friend. She welcomed me in her home when I was little and treated me like her own daughter. So many memories of my childhood spent with her and till I got married, she was there. The last time I spoke to her, I asked her not to leave me this year, but she said  she was all ready for eternal life. I guess heaven needed another angel. 
I'm sure Mama welcomed her and they're together again just like old times. Thank you for your love, Tita Levy. I will miss you. You are in my heart forever. 
To my Daddy Paeng, Kuya Dess & Tess, Ate Lee & Chris, Richie & Lorelei, and families, your loss is my loss. May God comfort us all during this time. May we have the strength knowing she is now in a better place and at peace.

Prayers to Mr Ralph n family  Liby was a very wonderful neighbor ,friend , mama to me . Loved all the morning visit in the sunshine . She always asked about my boys n grandchildren . Gave me a blessing n safe trip when I went on a trip that was the mama for me . I will miss hearing her soft sweet n kind voice .
