Lonnie J Parker was born in Hobbs, New Mexico. He passed away on December, 15 2017 in Abilene, Texas. He was a beloved dad, and most of all my best friend! His mother called him Punky; his friends called him Parker Joe. Lonnie loved fishing, and horse racing. If you went with him he would tell you to always pick the gray horse! Lonnie was a great and honest hard working man, with a heart the size of Texas. It is indescribable how much we will miss him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroyln Parker; mother, Jewel Pennington and his son Bo Parker. Lonnie is survived by his family; Button Parker, Lonnie O Brashear "Orville", Sherry Outlaw, Joe Don Parker, Katy, Kim,12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandkids, and two great great-grand kids; his special friend, Rachel Green; my aunt, and Lammeses.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, from 11:00 to 1:30. A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
