Lynda exchanged wedding vows with Burl Gilliam. They were happily married for 55 years.
Lynda worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Lynda was blessed with one son, Lance and one daughter, Laura. Another blessing for Lynda was the gift of one granddaughter, Sierra.

Lynda was a member of the Bay View Club, Texas Pharmaceutical Association, and the American Astronomy Association. Growing up in Fort Worth, Kay became involved in the Junior Astronomy Association. She became president of the National Astronomy Association as just a high schooler, and that sparked her love to see solar eclipses of the sun all over the world.
Lynda’s faith was important to her. She was passionate about spreading the word of Jesus. Her number one mission was making sure her only granddaughter knew the Lord. Mission accomplished.
