Myrna Hankla Keilman

Myrna Elane Hankla Keilman July 21, 1942 - November 4, 2024 Long time resident of Pflugerville,Tx passed away peacefully at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Keilman and her parents Wilfred and Fern (Wells) Hankla. She is survived by her sister, Tanda (Bill) Beck, sister in law, Barbara Keilman Vanover Caulder, her children, Tommie (Wade) Coleman, Glenda (Emmitt) Barina, Bobby (Cemelia) Keilman, and Gay (Wade) Ellis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Will and Nathan Ellis, Callie Wilson, Ashley Roberts, and Ryan Barina, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Myrna was born in Dalhart, Texas and raised in Boise City, Oklahoma. She was a high school basketball player and chose to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico with her parents and sister before her senior year. There she would soon meet her husband, Tom. They were married shortly after her graduation from Sandia High School.

Around 1966, they moved their growing family to Pflugerville, Texas to start an auction business. Myrna raised four wonderful children while helping run Tom Keilman & Son Auctioneers. Always the caretaker, she was a very kind and strong woman who was always quick to share a smile and kind word.

Myrna was most proud of being a mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on January 4th, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034.
