She was born on December 7, 1946, in Orofino, Idaho, to Charles Evilsizer and Helen Smith. In her teenage years, her father purchased a dairy farm and moved the family to Springfield, Missouri, where she met the love of her life, Henry Kenneth Branson.
Sharon was known for her encouraging words, sense of humor, and strong work ethic. She brought joy to those around her through her love of crocheting and her faith in Jesus. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for her horses and cows, and in her younger years, she was a barrel racer.
After Henry returned from overseas service with the U.S. Army, they married and went on to have two children. Over her lifetime, Sharon worked for the railroad and insurance companies, was a devoted homemaker, and later managed her husband’s dental office. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who deeply loved her family.
She is survived by her two children, Todd and Tamra; four grandchildren, Abigail, Luke, Elizabeth, and Caroline; and two siblings, Kevin and DeeAnn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kenneth Branson, and her sister, Carolyn.
Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America.
