She confirmed her Christian faith at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas on April 11th, 1954. Her Confirmation verse was John 10:27-28 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. She married David Glen Loeffler on June 12, 1962. While she spent most of her career as a homemaker and helpmeet to her husband, she lived her life in service to her Savior. She took care of the family while her husband studied to be a Pastor. She served tirelessly as a pastor’s wife in LCMS congregations in San Marcos, New Braunfels, Mount Pleasant, Clarksville, Watauga, and Dime Box, Texas. Additionally, she sang in choirs, served on Altar Guilds, taught Sunday School, and helped with Vacation Bible School. She was an avid seamstress and gardener.
