

Shirley graduated from Idalou High School. She worked for many years before retiring from Rel-Tec.
Shirley loved gardening, crafting, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. An avid garage sale enthusiast, she was always on the hunt for a bargain. She was known by her family as the best cook and an expert candy maker.
Known as “Nanny” by those who loved her, she found great joy in spending time with her family. She shared 63 years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, Leroy. Together they built a family and a life filled with love. Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Susan (husband Greg) and Debbie (husband Tom), and her five grandchildren, Bob, Christa (boyfriend Ed), Haley (husband Jarrod), Kate (husband Nick) and Marci (husband Joel). She also adored her nine great-grandchildren: Ella, Owen, Olivia, Miles, Molly, Hattie, Jacob, Kinsley, and Kendall.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Alice Wigham, along with her siblings, Jim, Jack, and Sue. She is survived by her beloved sister, Barbara.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will be remembered by all of those who knew her.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 27 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
