Terry Lee Meyer

Terry Meyer, 77, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on April 13, 2025.

He was born in Quincy, IL on April 26, 1947, son of Junior Leo & Bonnie Jean Meyer.

Terry graduated from Quincy Sr High School. Terry served in the US Navy assigned to the USS Capricornus AKA-57 receiving the national defense service medal. He also served in the US reserves until 1974. He received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Illinois University, and then continued and received a Master’s Degree in Theology from Texas Christian University.

He was married to Edna Stephanie Meyer on September 28, 1968, for 41 years, who preceded him in death June 2010.

Terry served 45-years of dedication and service in the Christian faith & community. He served in the family ministry within each church community he lived. He also had a 43-year career with BNSF with multiple Leadership roles.

He was a member of various organizations that focused on serving others, and had a passion for reading, learning, teaching, mentoring, serving others, photography, symphony, nature, traveling.

He is survived by his children: Tracy Ullman, spouse Phil, Scott Meyer, spouse Jennifer, Joseph Meyer, spouse Christi, Sarah Eastman, spouse Jacob

Grandchildren: Austin, Jacob, Reece, Jadyn, Lauren, Tyler, Juliana, Lindsay, McKenna, Zack, Emarion, Edward, Bella, Levi, and Jordyn.

Great Grandchildren; Tanner

Terry’s sibling: Danny Meyer, spouse Linda of Palmyra, Mo., preceded by infant sister, Linda.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 am, April 23, 2025, at Alliance Methodist Church.
