Virginia R. Spooner

Virginia "Ginny" Ruth Spooner, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on November 22, 2018 in Bedford, TX at the age of 94. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She was born on March 26, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI to Harry and Mary Lewis. In 1945 she moved to Dallas, TX and in 1973 moved to Hurst, TX where she lived happily. Ginny enjoyed spending time with her family, all types of needlework crafts, singing in the church choir and her faith in God.

Ginny is survived by her brother, Charles Lewis & wife Cherie, daughter Joy Spooner, son-in-law, Mike Lochaby & wife Elaine, son-in-law Gary Spooner & wife Diane, daughter-in-law, Linda Spooner, 11 grandchildren, Charles, Janeen, Tracy, Carrie, Jennifer, Gary, Shawn, Becky, Kyle, Kemo, and Koby, and 38 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wade Spooner Sr, brother, Robert Lewis, brother, Richard Lewis, son-in-law Charles Wade Spooner Jr, and grandson, Mike Lochaby Jr.

The visitation will be 11:30-12:30 on Wednesday November 28 at Bluebonnet Hills Chapel followed by the service at 12:30. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Lochaby, Gary Spooner, Charles Spooner III, William Shelton, Wyatt Shelton, and Randall Shelton.
