Lance Corporal Alexander Jacob Schrachta, 19, passed away while on active duty on August,12th. He was introverted, but had a contagious smile and a loyal heart. He loved playing sports, especially rugby, wrestling, and playing video games. Any food was his favorite food, but noodles most of all. Determined to always do his best, for others especially and he was such a hardworking man, his tough persona hid how kind he truly was. He served in the Marine Corps for one year as an 0311 infantry marine while serving in 1st battalion 8th marines company C. Alex will forever be loved and remembered and missed dearly in our hearts.
Alex is survived by his mother, Teresa, father, Carey, his younger brother, Ethan, his two older sisters Hannah and Elizabeth, his Uncle Tim, and several cousins, extended family and friends.
