Charles R. "Chuck" Gwaltney

Charles R. "Chuck" Gwaltney, 88, of Collierville, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Mr. Gwaltney was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Fisherville First Baptist Church. Mr. Gwaltney was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Hamner Gwaltney and his son, Ronald "Ronnie" Hamner Gwaltney. Survivors include his daughter, Pam Lawrence (Mark), his son, Tim Gwaltney (Julie), seven grandchildren, Stacy Ferrante (Joseph), Shannon Brown (Matt), Austin Gwaltney, Cory Bruntz, Chase Gwaltney, Jordan Gwaltney, and Kendall Gwaltney, two step-grandchildren, Wynter and Alex Lawrence, and three great-grandchildren, Payton Boyer, Preston Lester, and Aaron Ferrante. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 11am until the funeral service begins at Noon, all at Fisherville First Baptist Church, 11893 Macon Rd. Eads, TN.
