I did not know David at all but based upon what i have seen and read i wish i could've got to meet him. I have many friends like him and i have family in Memphis. My heart goes out to you and your family may god bless you.

I was in David's clinical group a few semesters ago. I loved being around him because he was funny, easy-going and always had a smile. My heart and prayers go out to you as you grapple with this loss. I pray the strength and peace of Jesus over your family.

May God bless your family in a time of sorrow. David seemed like a very special person and words can never take away the pain of such a great loss of your beloved.Knowing he now walks with Jesus and you will be together again with him one day I am sure brings much comfort to your hearts.

I had the pleasure of meeting David a couple weeks ago when he took care of my mother who was recovering from surgery. Darlin, I am fortunate to have spent the time with David that I was blessed with. Although we did not maintain a close friendship after high school, he still had a positive impact on my life. From a very young age, he was a person who truly knew the value of life, and he cherished it. I consider all life a gift from God, but a life like David's is more than a gift of life from God, he was a gift from God put here to better everyone else life. He was a leader who gave us hope, taught us how to love and show compassion, and more importantly he taught us how to forgive. He truly lived following the path of Jesus Christ. He was one of the few people who would be able to shed light on the meaning of life to anyone he came in contact with. I'm am lucky to have known him. May he rest in peace and his spirit live. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

David was such an amazing young man. Smart, funny, nice and definitely as handsome as they come. David and I worked together many years ago at Chili's, and anyone who worked there during that time will tell you we all weren't just co-workers we were a family. We spent so much time together in and out of work that no matter how much time has passed since then it still hurts. David wasn't the kind of person you met once and then forgot, he was a special soul and I truly believe he had an impact on every person he ever met. It saddens me greatly to hear this awful news.  My kids grew up with David and my son has called him friend for many years.  He was always a joy to be around.  May God bless your family and comfort you.

My sister, Peachie & I had the beautiful experience of meeting David at Smith Clinic, when we both had PT post knee sx &  then for exercise later.
David just lit up a room w/one of the sweetest smiles I have ever seen.  He was just as sweet & genuine as his precious smile.  He knew his business and treated everyone like they were his family members.  Everyone loved him.  He went too soon for he had so many left yet to minister to.  I know
God knows best, but he will be missed by so many.  We will treasure him in our hearts, where he has been since the first time I met him, and I will smile when I think of him.  God cover his family & friends in HIS Grace through this period of loss.
