David Fredrick Spain, age 71, of Collierville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. David was born August 17, 1949 in Kosciusko, MS to the late Fred Johnson Spain and Martha Carnes Spain. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retired from Avionics and FEDEX and was a member of the Church at Schilling Farms.
David is survived by his loving wife; Sandra (Kay) Longfellow Spain, of Collierville, TN two daughters; Becky Spain and Susan Spain both of Memphis, TN. He also leaves his sister, Nancy Adams of Tupelo, Miss, his brother John Spain (Janet) of Hillsboro, Or and brother Chuck Spain (Sabrina) of Alamogordo, NM He was preceded in death by his sister Sudie King.
The family will receive friends 6pm - 8pm Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Collierville Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be 10am Friday, March 12, 2021 in the T. Carl Rutledge Memorial Chapel of Collierville Funeral Home. A committal service with Military Honors will be held 10:30am Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in the Rotunda of West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
