DOROTHY M. PFEIFER, 76, of Germantown, died September 30, 2010. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, at 1 p.m., Monday, October 4 at Collierville Funeral Home; with service to follow at 2 p.m. Dorothy retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance and she later worked for Baptist Hospital. She attended Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was passionate about art, and she loved to sketch and learn techniques for oil painting. She leaves two sons, Greg Pfeifer (Catherine) and Jeff Pfeifer (Marlene); two sisters, Lora Abarca and Betty McAuliffe; two brothers, Wes Turnmire and Jerry Turnmire; four grand-children, Matthew Pfeifer, Rachel Pfeifer, Rebecca Pfeifer, Tommy Hayes; and 10 great-grandchildren.
