The family will gather to receive friends on Sunday, March 13, at 12:00 p.m., and Celebration of Life Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Mr. Bruning was born on March 5, 1964 in Cincinnati, OH and later received his Master’s Degree from Florida Institute of Technology in Orlando. After a brief stint with GE, he began his career with FedEx, where he was a Computer Systems Analyst in the revenue department. Ed loved movies, cars, reading, model cars, baseball (especially the Cincinnati Reds), rock music, and table tennis. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything, but most importantly, he was a family man. Ed was a devoted husband, a doting and supportive father who never missed a gymnastics meet or cheer competition, a brother who was always there, and a friend you could always depend on. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Bruning. Ed is survived by his wife of 28 years, Beth Bruning; two daughters, Erin and Michelle Bruning; his mother, Mary Bruning; two brothers, Max (Rose) Bruning and Mike (Holly) Bruning; his brother-in-law, Andy Jameson; and his dogs, Brodie and Baylee. Lasting memorials in his honor may be directed to the Colon Cancer Foundation at www.ColonCancerFoundation.org
