Dear John and Carol, This is not the way one would renew contact after some 60 years, but Zula alerted me to the CA obituary for your son. We know the pain of losing a child and doubt if it is any less for an older than a younger one, and Ursula's and my thoughts and prayers will be with you.  (Philip had not mentioned you being around Memphis or we might have been in touch on one of our visits there.) We hope you are weathering age as well as we are, and would welcome a visit if you are this way--and, of course, knowing where you are.
