Johnny Ray Pope

Johnny Ray Pope, 72, of Collierville, passed away April 16, 2012. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Germantown Church of Christ, 8723 Poplar Pike, in Germantown, TN. John graduated from Mississippi State University in 1961 and was a devoted Bulldog fan. His greatest joy was walking in the presence of his Lord and Savior and knowing the Grace of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Pope and Johnny Mahdeen Pope. Johnny is survived by his wife of 26 years, Annette Delores Pope; sons, J.R. Pope, Charles Anthony Pope, and James Chris Pope; granddaughter, Krista; step-daughter, Teri Fabian; and family and friends who will miss him greatly. He will be missed most of all by Christine, Sally, and Packer, who loved him and called him "Pops".
