Kay L. Dickson

KAY L. DICKSON, 68, of Collierville, TN, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House. She was born December 30, 1943 in Cresco, IA, daughter of Merlyn and Pearl Schmidt Krueger. She married Gary D. Dickson of Waterloo, IA on June 21, 1963. They moved to Germantown, TN in 1985 and to Collierville, TN in 1997. Mrs. Dickson retired from the University of Memphis in 2012. Survived by: her husband of 49 years, two sons, Robert of Marion, AR and James (Angela) of Kansas City, MO; two grandsons, Andrew “AJ” Dickson and Nicholas Dickson of Kansas City, MO; and her mother, Pearl M. Krueger of Waterloo, IA. Preceded in death by her father, and two infant sons. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, October 25 at Collierville Funeral Home, and from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., Friday, October 26 at Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville, TN, with burial in the Garden of Memories in Waterloo, IA.
