Neita Jane Joyner

She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Neita is the widow of the late Julian Joyner of Mt. Pleasant, MS.

Neita graduated from Byhalia High School, Byhalia, MS. and was employed by Carrier Air in Collierville, TN for most of her adult life.

She enjoyed playing, basketball, softball and bowling. She was a member of a bowling league in Collierville, where she made many great friends. She also enjoyed watching most sports but particularly enjoyed Memphis Tigers football and basketball. She loved music and loved to dance. She adored her family and especially her dog Rocky.

Neita is survived by her son Delbert Lee Palmer, Jr. and wife Kim of Eads, TN, Grandson Zackary Lee Palmer wife Amanda, great grandson baby Palmer due March 9th of Kansas City, MO. Her stepson Eddie Joyner and wife Lynn of Collierville, TN 3 step grandsons of Collierville, TN. Rodney Joyner wife Jeanne, Brent Joyner wife Rachel, Adam Joyner wife Ciara. 3 step great grandsons. Ryan, Jenson and Slayden. 2 Great granddaughters, Ivy and Adelyn. 2 brothers, David Treadwell and wife Sylvia of Collierville, TN Stanley Treadwell and wife Linda of Olive Branch, Ms. and a sister Carolyn Henning and Husband Jim of Rossville, TN and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Neita was pre-ceded in death by her parents, her husband, Julian Joyner, 3 sisters, Peggy Treadwell, Betty Ann Stokes, Sandra Russell and 2 brothers, Robert Treadwell and Grant Treadwell.

Please join us for a celebration of life, Visitation will be Wednesday January 14, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with services on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
