

Raymond Ray Cox, 74, of Rossville, TN, passed away September 28, 2014. He was born August 8, 1940 to the late Fred and Susie Cox. He was retired from Kellogg’s and often played Tony the Tiger. He was also a member of Kirk Christian Church and a shop steward for local 252 with Kellogg’s. He was preceded in death by four sisters; his twin, Clara Mae Moore, Mamie Stone, Mary Inman, and Martha Earnest and two brothers Virgil Cox and Fred Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lola Faye Cox, two daughters, Michelle (Mark) Replogle and Cassandra (Chris) Cowart, sister, Dean Cox, brother, David Cox, brothers-in-law, L.W. Earnest and Bobby Hooker, two sisters-in-law, Helen Bueno and Ruby Greer as well as two precious granddaughters, Kendyl Brooke Cowart and Sydney Morgan Cowart. A gathering of friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Collierville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 also at Collierville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
