Reed Richard Walker

Reed Richard Walker, 90, life long resident of Collierville, TN passed away peacefully, July 27, 2021 after a short term illness. He was born November 17, 1930 to the late Cleveland and Indy Walker of Collierville, TN. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; William, Robert and Sammy Walker, and a sister; Mary Emma Gatlin. He is survived by his wife; Stella Walker, daughters; Sharon Rogers (Dale) of Cedar Grove, TN., Janet Rial (Mike) of Collierville, TN., a sister; Lila Madden (Joe) of Collierville, TN. two grandchildren; Rick Coleman of Atwood, TN, Stephany Drassal of Jackson, TN and seven great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Walker served in the U. S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran which he often told stories about. He retired from Bryce Corporation after 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, Friday, July 30, 2021 with Funeral Services to follow at 2pm all at the newly restored Chapel of Magnolia Cemetery. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
