Robert Edward Harris, known lovingly as "Curly", went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Curly passed away peacefully in Collierville, TN near where he was born on September 28, 1934.
He is survived by his cousin "Butch" Dodson and numerous, cherished, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Vonley H.Clinton Harris and Irma Ethel Dodson; his brother Vonley (and Juanita) Harris; and first cousins Eula, Mary, Ethel, James and Junior Dodson.
Curly lived a simple life and cherished a wonderful group of friends he was surrounded by. We are indeed sad, at the same time grateful he lived a long life, he will rest in peace as he was a very good man.
We will always remember him with love.
An informal gathering/service will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the New Salem Cemetery in Cayce, Mississippi.
