

RONALD CLYDE HURLEY, 67, of Germantown, TN passed away on August 25, 2014. He grew up in Sikeston, MO and attended Sikeston High School and graduated from Southeast Missouri University in Cape Girardeau, MO. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Ron was employed by First Tennessee Bank for 40 years starting his career in Sikeston, MO at the Operations Center, later moving to Chattanooga, Nashville and completing his career as Senior Vice President of Operations in Memphis, TN. He retired in January 2013. Ron is survived by his wife Karen (Busa) Hurley, daughter Stephanie (Jim) Guglielmo of Roswell, GA, daughter Jacquelyne Hurley of Memphis, TN and son Justin Hurley of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, Annie Guglielmo, Emma Guglielmo, and James Guglielmo of Roswell, GA; three sisters, Glenda Jo Norton of Sikeston, MO, Carolyn (Butch) McHaney of Bertrand, MO, and Nancee (Rick) Werts of Saint Charles, MO; mother-in-law, Verlyn Busa, sisters-in-law, Donna LeBlanc, O’Fallon, MO, Nancy Culver, Phoenix, AZ, Cheri (Mike) Gaechter, Dallas, TX and Teri Sweeney, Huffman, TX; brother-in-law Ronnie (Helen) Busa, Austin, TX. In addition, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved him dearly. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, William Clyde and Norma Hurley, sisters, Jean Brooks and Cheryl Hurley. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, August 28, from 5-8 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 543 W. Poplar Ave., Collierville, TN. The funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 29 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 851 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN. A reception luncheon at St. Theresa’s Hall will follow the service with burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville, TN. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to the
