Shirley Anna Temple Hemmings, 77, of Collierville, passed from this life Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville. Shirley was born February 21, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA. She served as a Cub Scout leader, Girl Scout cookie chairman, and Collierville Elementary PTA member. Shirley loved all kinds of arts and crafts including crocheting, quilting, and painting.
Mrs. Hemmings is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: John Hemmings.
She is survived by her daughter: Donna Griffith (Shannon); son: Robert Hemmings (Teresa); four grandchildren: Kim Beasley (Cole), Michelle Smith, Brianna McCallum (Tristan) and Ryan Harker; and one great-granddaughter: Sabrina McCallum.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 31, 2025 beginning at 1 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, Tennessee. A Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m.
