He was born on August 4, 1977 in Mt Clemens, Michigan to Leroy Worgess and Barbara Burr Worgess.
Tom married his wife Jennifer Hughes Worgess on September, 12 2009. They had three sons Riley Russell Worgess, Colin Jeffery Worgess, and Cameron Lee Worgess.
Tom worked at Smith & Nephew as a Director of Supply Chain.
Tom attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelors degree in supply chain. He received his Masters degree from the University of Tennessee.
Tom was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and enjoyed yearly trips with his brothers from the Fraternity. Tom loved all things sports from watching, playing, and coaching his sons baseball teams. His motto for coaching was always attitude and effort. He was loved among other coaches, players, parents, and the umpires. Tom loved to travel with his family and was on a mission to get his sons to all fifty states. Tom was an avid trivia fan and was full of useless knowledge.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jennifer; three sons Riley, Colin and Cameron; his mother, Barbara; siblings, Deborah, Karen, Cecily, Bridget, Anthony, Fred, Bob, Brad and Margaret. And a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Leroy, sister Jane and brother Andrew.
The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday July 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road. At the conclusion of services the family will have a time of Fellowship and sharing from 3-5 p.m. in the Celebration of Life Center at Collierville Funeral Home.
