Lois Anne Kuhn

She was born to parents Edna and Harry Garforth on July 17, 1949, in Camden, NJ. She was also a dedicated niece and caregiver to Thelma and Edward Hoffman.

Lois graduated from Camden Catholic High School and received her nursing degree from Thomas Jefferson University. Lois loved her career as an RN which spanned multiple experiences including ICU, PACU, OB/GYN, Pulmonary and volunteering at her children’s school.

She was married to Stephen Kuhn (deceased in January 2021, of Philadelphia) in 1971 with whom she spent 49 years in loving marriage. She is survived by her children Cheryl Clarkin (Kuhn) and her husband Patrick, and Stephen H. Kuhn and his wife Julia Kuhn (Jacob). In addition, she cherished her five grandchildren: Sophia Clarkin, James Clarkin, Zoe Kuhn, Fiona Kuhn and Braydon Kuhn.

She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, niece, friend, and devout Catholic who provided for her family and friends physically and spiritually with unconditional love and selfless generosity. She was an avid sports fan, but her deepest passion was for her beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Lois will be deeply missed but the family finds peace that she is reunited with her husband in heaven.

Viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11am at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home - 226 W Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. The burial will take place immediately following at the Calvary Cemetery - 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 .
