Passed away on July 24, 2012 of Collingswood, NJ. Age 79.
She was the beloved mother of Thomas (Linda) Evans of Williamstown, the late Barbara Phillips, Karen (fiancé John Dzierzynski) Donlin of Williamstown, and Jane (Robert) Lewallen of Audubon, NJ.
Loving grandmother of Jennifer and Olivia Lewallen, Kyle and Sean Donlin, and step grandmother of Michael and Debbie. Daughter of the late Grace and William Hewitt Sr. sister of the late Jean Oster and William Hewitt Jr.
Ms. Hewitt-Evans grew up in the Cramer Hill section of Camden,
and graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1951 where she was a member of the Lambda Sigma Chi sorority.
She also attended Camden County College. She was a retired Office Manager/Executive with Strawbridge & Clothier/Clover in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday 10am at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave, Westmont. Mass of Christian Burial 11am. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
