

12-2-43 to 9-25-16. "Eddie O" as he was affectionately called passed away on September 25, 2016, he was 72. Born in Camden, NJ, he moved with his family to Rossford, OH in 1952. He attended and played football for Rossford High School until 1960. He moved back to NJ in 1962 and married Catherine Wright, they had one daughter, Suzanne. They divorced and he had two more marriages- Joann who is deceased, and Michele to whom he was married for 22 years before divorcing. He was employed by Haddonfield Lumber for 30 years until he retired in 2009. Ed was an avid golfer and was an original member of Laurel Creek Country club. He won the senior club championship in 1999, and was runner-up three times. After retiring Ed moved back to Perrysburg, OH for several years before finally landing in Sarasota, FL in 2015 where he enjoyed golf until he was diagnosed and treated for lung cancer, which ultimately claimed his life.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne O'Keefe, sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Don Belkofer, sister and brother-in-law Eileen and Bob Weber, and brother Ted O'Keefe, as well as many other family members and friends who will greatly miss him
A Memorial Service is planned at BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home 226 W Collings Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108 on November 5, 2016 from 11:00 -2:00 PM.
