Andrew “Andy” Keiding Bohlmann was a loving husband, father, caretaker and community leader. He married Kathleen “Kathy” Jury Bohlmann in 1979 and had two sons Matthew and Philip. Andy and Kathy were community builders and organized several hundred public summer sports and recreation events through the 1990s and 2000s in the spirit of fun, family, friends and community.
Andy was deeply committed to his family. When Kathy fell ill in the mid 1990s, Andy became her full-time caretaker. He stayed by her side for nearly 25 years, all the while putting his two sons through college.
Andy will be fondly remembered for his goofiness, his generosity, his ability to make anyone laugh, his unwavering kindness, strength of character and commitment to his family. While he will be missed, Andy will continue to be loved.
