It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Anthony (Tony) A. Carter, age 60, who left this world far too soon on February 20, 2026. Though his time here ended unexpectedly, the legacy he built through love, laughter, and unwavering dedication will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born on December 29th, 1965, Tony was the very definition of a hard working man. He took pride in every task he undertook—big or small—and approached each day with purpose. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family, whom he cherished beyond measure.
Those who knew Tony will remember his joyful spirit most of all. He had a smile that could brighten any room and a laugh that came from deep within—a sound friends and loved ones will miss dearly. Whether sharing a story, lending a hand, or offering a quiet moment of support, he had a unique way of making people feel valued and understood.
Above all, Tony loved his family fiercely. He was a proud father, a beloved son, and a steadfast friend. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by those he loved—sharing meals, telling jokes, and creating the memories that now serve as treasured keepsakes.
Tony leaves behind a family who adored him, a circle of friends who respected him, and a community made better simply by his presence. He is survived by his mother: Ora Carter, his siblings: Bobby, Pat, James, Clarence and Vincent and his beloved children: Trey and Grace Carter.
Though his passing brings immense sadness, the joy he brought into the world remains. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the love he gave freely, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
