

Beverly Jean Dire Hendrix, born 2.27.39 passed away 3.3.17. Survived by husband Tom Hendrix, children: Debi Hendrix Dreisbach , John Hendrix (Candy), Mike Hendrix (Tammy), Denise Hendrix Pritchard (Jeff), 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, sister Kathy Moore James, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by twin daughters Sharon & Karen Hendrix, Manuel Dire, Father, Louise Campbell Kerns, Mother, Michael Dire Brother, Miriam Sanchez Sister.
Born in Colorado Springs, attended Palmer High School, married to love of her life for 60 years. Her family was her passion and delight. As an Army wife she selflessly raised 4 children alone due to her husbands many overseas assignments. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything else and would do whatever they needed done, from rides to delicious home cooked meals. She tried to attend as many activity events for grandkids as possible. She loved camping and fishing, even though she would scare all the other fish when she caught hers. She had a fantastic memory for names and dates. She also loved square dancing and socializing with long time friends from high school. She enjoyed her employment with District 11 working the Coronado High School sporting events. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her presence and infectious smile will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910, Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at Church on the Ranch, 3685 Jeannine Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
