

Billy Eleanor Miles, age 90, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs and formerly of Denver, passed away on October 15, 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.
Billy Eleanor Dike was born on June 1, 1925 in Waynoka, Oklahoma to the late William Joseph and Arminita “Minnie” May (Taul) Dike. Billy was a 1943 graduate of North High School in Denver. Shortly after graduation, she met and married Elmer Miles and together they moved to Colorado Springs. She worked for Hobby Time, was an Avon Manager, and was a volunteer with Christmas Unlimited.
Billy was very involved as a member at First Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. In her free time, she loved crafting, including sewing, needlework, and floral arranging.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Noble, Terry (Yvette) Miles, and Kay (Tom) Marshall; a son-in-law, Ken Clark; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren (with one more on the way); two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; a daughter, Linda Clark; one brother; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Billy’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
