Dear Sara, Joe and Casey,

Our family is heartbroken for what you are going through now. The pain of losing a child and a brother is a pain that travels into your soul and forever changes your lives.  Please know that I have been praying that Jesus wrap His arms around you and keep you strong.  It will be a long and difficult journey, I know this.  It will be a pain that will sneak up on you when you are not expecting it, but sometimes Bo will come and whisper in your ear to let you know he is ok.  

There will be a time when you will be able to place the agony in your heart in a space only you know and let it come out when you are ready, I promise. 

There will come a time when the laughter does not mix with tears when you are remembering the special times with Bo, I promise.

Bo was such an extrordinary person and he lived life to the fullest. He touched every person that he ever met and will always be remembered as a caring person who was never afraid to try new and adventerous things. Joe, I feel I know Bo through your many wonderful stories about him.  I'm so glad to have seen him perform and know you and Sara are so proud to have had him as a son.  I believe that now he's teaching the angels how to fly!

I pray for your families strength to move on with the loss and to always be able to carry on Bo's spirit. He brought so much life to those around him no matter where he was. Sarah, Joe and Casey:
Bo has been part of our family for as long as I can remember.  He has been an uncle to our kids and a best friend to all of us.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. We love you!

Bogan Frese. Now there's a name for you. Everyone just called him "Bo". There was only one Bo, so no other identifier was necessary.

Bo was a gymnast, a life-long gymnast. A generation of young athletes has been exposed to his talent and easy-going nature. He was among the best the gym had ever seen. If there was ...a big trick being thrown, chances are it was Bo in the air. Spectators all over the nation marveled at Bo's diving exhibitions at state fairs during the summer months. This past year, crowds in Europe were also delighted by Bo's trampoline and entertainment skills. Yes, Bo was world-class.

Yesterday,December 4th 2010, Bo took to the air for the last time. A slight miscalculation resulted in a tragic accident. Bo died doing what he loved best, in the place he loved best, among the people he loved best.

Many a Wednesday night I would head for the gym to do Russian Swing with Bo and the gang. My tenant would often tease me as I left the house about my regular rendezvous with Bo. "You're going to see your beau, aren't you," she would quip. "You love your beau, don't you."

Hell yeah. Everybody loved Bo.

Sarah, Joe and Casey:  I can't even find the words to express how saddened Tom and I are by Bo's untimely passing. May God and his angels cradle you in this most difficult time.

As A childhood friend of Bo's I remember how much fun he had in life. Skateboard ramps,trampolines, and alot of laughter is how I remember our fun days in the cul-de-sac. Mrs.Frese, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. When I think of grade school, you are my favorite teacher of all time. My heart breaks for you & your family. All I keep thinking is Bo was doing what he loved to do best, & boy was he great at it. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family in this hard time.

Bo Frese was a part of the Barnes family and grew up with us.He was a remarkable human, loved life and lived it to the fullest.My children refered to him as uncle Bo and would wait for his arrival from his many adventures. Our family loved him and he will truly be missed. His presence will be missed in this world. He was a remarkable and amiable human being. One day we will be reunited my brother and friend.

Thank you so much for bringing such an amazing person into the world. I don't think I ever met anyone who knew how to live as well as Bo did.  Even tho his life was cut shorter than it should have, I know Bo lived twice as much as most people do.  And he inspired so many people.  My thoughts  and prayers are with you during this time.  Bo will always live on in memory and in heart.

Bo was one of my great gymnastics coaches, a mentor, friend, and inspiration.   

I will train hard and in my endeavors I will think of your own work ethic in awe and for motivation both on the trampoline and in life.

I didn't know Bo real well, but had Mrs. Frese as my 6th grade teacher and I remember Bo always coming to hang out, I remember him tumbling around the play ground all the time at Mark Twain, I know he'll be missed by many! As one of Bo's childhood friends, my heart is broken. Bo and I hooked up through Facebook and were able to get together briefly before he went oversees. Spending a little time with him was like we had never been apart. I am in shock not knowing what happened and realizing that he isn't out there for me to meet again until my days on Earth are over.

Bo was truelly a wonderful guy. Every memory of him brings a smile to my face. Truelly a life long friend. He will be missed dearly.

Bo would always be willing to be my subject for my photography class, he would always smile and make me feel better. I will truly miss him and his wonderful spirit. What a wonderful human being. God bless him and his family.

Bo was a living testiment to the quote, "It's better to give, than to receive."   because he gave so much to everyone he knew and asked for little to nothing in return.  Thank you Bo, for you warmth, compassion, humor and most importantly...your friendship.

No doubt in my heart that Bo was one of the more fun-loving people I knew. He'll be remembered fondly and missed more dearly than expected.

I pray that his next adventure suits him as well.

I never knew him to have a harsh word with anyone; instead, he was usually the first to offer a warm welcome.

My condolences go out to his loved ones that miss him the most.

Bo was truly an exceptional human being that has touched everyone he has met in some way.  He was a talented and warm hearted man.  I as well have known him since childhood and feel proud and blessed I have had the opportunity to call him my friend.  Mr. and Mrs. Frese, thank you for raising him to be the lifelong friend and man that he became and thank you for sharing him with us.  I know the pain we feel in losing Bo could never compare to the feelings of depair you feel as a mother, father, brother and grandmother.  My heart is with each and every one of you.
