Carol Joan Fowler

Carol J. Fowler, 51, passed away on November 9th 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born January 26th 1962 in Lincoln, NE to Wayne and Joan Tanderup. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, she moved to California. She was married to Tom Fowler on February 18, 1989 in Burbank, CA. They moved to Nebraska where they had two children Zayne and Joelle. In 2000 they moved to Colorado Springs, CO and had recently moved to Larkspur, CO.

Carol was a loving wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed many things that involved being creative including cosmetology, making jewelry and remodeling homes. She enjoyed playing with her dogs, Rex, Dusty, and Milo.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Fowler; Larkspur, CO; son, Zayne Fowler and daughter, Joelle Fowler, Colorado Springs, CO; mother Joan Tanderup, Pleasant Dale, NE; sister, Joyce (Erich) Helge of Seward, NE, sister, Linda (Bill) Kuhlman, of Pleasant Dale, NE, mother-in-law, Renata Fowler, Forest Lake, MN; sister-in-law Monique (Tom) Gillen, Forest Lake, MN; brother-in-law Steve (Johanna) Fowler, Sebeja, MN and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father Wayne Tanderup.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
