Cecil “Van” Lightfoot Jr., beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on March 31, 2016, in Monument, CO. He was born in Pasadena, Texas, February 28, 1941. The second of four children to the late Cecil and Loyce Lightfoot.
He leaves behind his wife Cheryl Lightfoot, sons Cecil V. Lightfoot III, John D. Lightfoot and Craig D. Erick, Grandsons Branden Lightfoot, Brayden Lightfoot, and Connor Lightfoot.
Family was most important in his life, loved to ride his Harley Davidson, in which he rode his motorcycle from Colorado to Alaska. While working at Lockheed Martin he was able to travel the world and experience different cultures.
Visitation will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors from 1:00pm-2:00pm April 5, 2016, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903, followed by a Celebration of Life.
