Clara Lois Erickson 87 former Colorado Springs resident passed away on June 14, 2016 in Madisonville, Kentucky. Clara was born May 22, 1929 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Tom and Mary Carpenter. Clara is survived by her three sisters Emma Brown, Alice Wade and Tommye Bouchard as well 3 grandchildren. Clara is preceded in passing by her son Vernon McCarw. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910
