Dale was born in Quonset Point, Rhodes Island to Anna Marilyn Delphenich and Hubert Alexander Dinkel on May 26, 1950. He attended Ranum High School, in Westminster, Colorado, and graduated from Regis College, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Navy and in the Naval Reserves. He worked as a Design Engineer for Thermo-Fisher Scientific for over 20 years.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert A. Dinkel and Anna M. Drake, brother Wayne Dinkel, and life-partner Ingrid Lynn.
Dale is survived by his two children, Jason Dinkel and Janel Casady, and four grandchildren, and brothers and sisters: Larry (Mary) Dinkel, Sheryl (Greg) Towns, Andy (Donna) Parker, Janis Johnson (Alex Valdez), Patti (Steve) Currie, Mary Lynn (Cory) Berg, and Marty (Stacy) Dinkel.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
