It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Damien Phillip Urbina on March 29, 2025, at the age of 31. Born on August 22, 1993, in Modesto, California, Damien made Colorado his home, where he spent his life cherishing his family, friends, and the many bonds he formed throughout his journey.
Damien was a proud and loving son, reunited with his father, Phillip Urbina Sr., at Heaven's gate. He was the devoted husband to Sarah Valencia and the caring father to his three daughters, Esmeralda, Cruzita, and Isabella, who were the center of his world. His love for his girls was immeasurable, and he dedicated his life to being there for them in every way he could.
As a brother, Damien’s love extended to his siblings: Rosylnn Urbina & Michael Walters, Kristen & Brandon Borrego, Phillip Urbina Jr., Makayla & Jason Esquivel, Phillip Baumgardner, Chance Hoder, Amy & Leobigildo Robledo Jr., Francisco Robledo, Rosemary & Abel Ortiz. He was a cherished son-in-law to Lucia & Gilbert Torres, and a loving uncle to 19 nephews, 13 nieces, and 1 great nephew, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Damien was a constant source of support, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His family and friends will forever remember him for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought into every room he entered. He approached life with passion and energy, and his presence was a bright light that warmed all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A true mechanic at heart, Damien had a passion for all things automotive, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones—whether it was grilling or family gatherings, fishing, camping under the stars, or enjoying a few drinks with good company. He was a man who cherished simple pleasures and loved to unwind with music and laughter. Movie nights were a tradition he held dear, always eager to create new memories with those closest to him.
Damien’s soul was one of genuine love and authenticity. He will be missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and loved ones.
In his honor, let us all be reminded to love and cherish the time we have with those we hold dear. Life is precious, and the memories we create with our loved ones are what truly matter.
Rest in peace, Damien. You will forever be loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.
