Daniel was born on September 18, 1979 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Along with his family, he moved to Colorado Springs in September 1984. He earned an Associate’s Degree from Pikes Peak Community College and held a Certification in Baking.
Daniel was a loving and devoted son to his parents. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was an avid book collector, including many Bibles, other Christian topics, as well as older books of value. God gifted Daniel with a baritone/bass vocal instrument – his voice, which delighted many people over the years. Whatever the arts and cultural world offered, he was interested in them and was himself a very creative and artistic person. He devoted much study to Ancient World History and loved sharing and discussing what he learned through reading. He was currently in his 10th year of Bible Study Fellowship.
His kitty cats and dogs were the love of his life over the span of his years, along with horses and other of God’s wonderful creatures. He greatly enjoyed hiking in Colorado and especially Rocky Mountain National Park. Being in the great outdoors, exercising, keeping fit and running around Quail Lake most days brought him much joy.
Daniel is survived by his parents; his sister, Sharon and children in New Zealand; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
