

Dorothy M. (Conrad) Cinkosky, age 76, was called home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on February 14, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in McHenry, Illinois as the oldest of seven children. Dorothy graduated from McHenry High School and later attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago, where she nurtured her love for art for one year. In 1975, she began a new chapter of her life and moved to Colorado, a place she would come to call home for the remainder of her life.
While working at Western Forge, Dorothy met Paul Cinkosky. Their relationship was a blessing, rooted in love and commitment. They were married on September 29, 1997. Together they built a life centered on devotion to one another.Dorothy loved art, traveling with Paul throughout the United States, appreciating the beauty of God’s creation. Her faith was strong and steadfast. She was a loving wife, devoted stepmother, caring sister, and cherished aunt. As the eldest sibling, she was often a source of quiet strength to her family.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Cinkosky; her siblings Roberta Hayes (Pat), Veronica Conrad, Cyd Wallace (John), Walt Conrad, Nick Conrad, and Teresa Conrad-Graef (Ken); as well as extended family members and friends who were blessed by her kindness and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Walter Conrad.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Swan Law, 501 N. Cascade, Colorado Springs.
Burial services will take place on Monday, December 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Section 141, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903, corner of Hancock and Fountain.
Dorothy’s life was a testament to faith, love, and quiet devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she now rests peacefully in God’s presence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Rocky Mountain Cancer Center.
