Eldon G. Glaser

Eldon George Glaser, 53, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 29, 2011. Eldon was a man full of love, wit and loyalty. He had strength to fight a disease that he unfortunately did not win; ALS.

Eldon was born on June 27, 1957 to Edward and Violet Glaser, and was a native of Colorado Springs. He was an owner and operator of Glaser Gas, Inc. for 35 years; a propane gas business that his father started over 61 years ago. Eldon as a pilot loved to fly and he flew many small planes. As an athlete, he enjoyed basketball, baseball, golf, swimming and dancing. He was also a dedicated Bronco fan. But most of all Eldon loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed. He was a 1975 graduate of Calhan High School

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Diane Glaser. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his two beloved children; son, Alexander Glaser and daughter, Cassandra Glaser. He is also survived by his parents; Edward and Violet Glaser and two brothers, David and Edwin (Gladys). He was blessed to have and is survived by nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Steven Glaser and nephew Shawn Glaser.

Viewing: Swan Law, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO, February 3, 2011, 4-8pm. Celebration of Life Service: Friday, February 4, 2011, 2pm, Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Road, Colorado Springs, CO. Cremation and inurnment will take place at a later date.
