Gary graduated from Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs; where he lettered in swimming. He enjoyed playing baseball and one of his favor interest was riding dirt bikes. Gary was a big fan of the “Old Nascar” and his hero was Richard Petty. He had an opportunity to meet and talk with Richard Petty on two occasions while visiting North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of forty one years, Andi, two sisters Janet (Byron) of Montrose, Colorado and Beverly of Boston, Massachusetts; mother-in-law Cathy (Fred); brother-in-law Carl (Donna); stepmom-in-law Ginny; stepbrother Reed of Wisconsin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado.
