Gary Douglas Roberts

Gary is survived by his wife Pamela A. Roberts, son Jason Shiparski his wife Amber two grandchildren Hayley and Katelyn, son Matthew Shiparski all from Colorado Springs. His brother Mark Roberts, sisters Gayle Schmidt, Sherry Anderson and her husband Ed from El Paso, Texas, sister-in-law Dona Seis and her husband Kent and brother-in-law Thurman W. Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Viola Roberts.

Gary was born and raised in El Paso, Texas until he joined the United States Air Force in April 1980. During his time in the Air Force he served overseas numerous times and received many medals for his achievements. He served for 26 years retiring in April 2006. Gary met his wife Pamela in Albuquerque, New Mexico and they spent many happy and blessed years together.

Even though Gary has left us to be with God, he will live on in each of us with the love and memories that we have of him.

To my loving husband and best friend I will say goodbye because I will also have you in my heart and I know some day I will be with you again.
