She passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2023 just a month shy of her 80th birthday. She had a remarkable eye for detail and created beautiful works of art that will be enjoyed by her loved ones for many years to come.
Georgia graduated from Festus Missouri High School then went on to work for TWA and moved to New York City where she married her first husband (Ted von Heiland) and the father of her 4 children. They then moved to the Philippines, and she lived in Angeles and Manila for over 35 years, falling in love with the culture, food and people of the Philippine Islands.
Georgia leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity and she will forever be remembered by her children – Chip von Heiland (Mary), Erika Strader and Trina Lemons (Tim); her step children Pia Paterno (Nahum) and Mia Rodriguez (Eugie); her siblings Ginny Ocello, Debbie Becker (Bill), Monty Kennedy and her beloved baby sister, Ann Hoffman (Bob); Her grandchildren – Wolfie, Tori and Alex von Heiland, Kim Demers, Luke Ingels (Kaelyn) Kennedy Strader, Christian Santos, Krisanne Dunham; Rykee, Arianna, Nadia and Alessandro Rodriguez and her great grand children Liv and Ev Dunham, and Maya Rodriguez.

Her legacy will continue to inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace. The family is planning a private memorial.
