Gregory Zymbaluk

Greg was born October 1, 1965 to Mary and Walter Zymbaluk of Stratford, CT. Greg grew up in Stratford, surrounded by loving friends and family. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1987. In 1989 Greg married Lisa Blair of Los Alamos, NM and they enjoyed 23 years of marriage. After his stint serving in the US Navy in California, Hawaii and Texas, the family, which no included sons Justin, Jared, Jaden and Jentry, made Colorado their home. Greg was a man who had a deep faith, loved his family, and loved all kinds of fun things: camping, boating, skiing and biking to name a few.

Additionally Greg is survived by: brother Andy; sister Nadine; nephews Nick, Rick, Ryan; niece Draceena; and, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Beloved Husband, Dad, Brother, Friend- you are greatly missed but will live on in our hearts and memories. Greg, Lisa and their family responded to God’s call to share the love of Christ with the people of Nepal when a friend shared with them what one man is doing there. They caught the vision and joined with Pastor Tirtha Gurau, who is actively working with children left homeless by tragedy and natural disaster. The dream is to build an orphanage in Nepal, to provide a safe home for the children to grow up in, allow them to go to school, and continue the effort of saving the lost through their own lives and work.

Greg and Lisa, along with their friend, have established ‘Nepal Sunrise Ministries’ in order to further this work. Greg was developing a website for the ministry to spread the news of this need in Nepal at the time of his passing. In honor of Greg and his heart for these precious people, the family is asking for donations to ‘Nepal Sunrise Ministries’ through Greg’s memorial fund in order to continue his work.
