Heather Jean Dillard

Heather was born August 31, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Stuart & Ruth Morrison. She was the youngest of three children. Her family then moved to Pasadena, California where she enjoyed playing music in her high school band before graduating Duarte High School in 1975.

In 1978 Heather joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. It was there that she met the love of her life, Robert Dillard. They were wed on December 4,1981, at Fort Riley, Kansas. Together they had three daughters, April, Rose, and Samantha. The Army moved them from Kansas, Germany, and Colorado where they retired.

Heather was survived by her three daughters April (Adam) Busald, Rose (Nick) Franklin, and Samantha (Joseph) Montmeny; grandchildren, Kira, Gavin, Brodie, Mathias, Kolton, and Tyra; along with siblings, Stuart Morrison and Anne Maier. She was greeted by her husband, Robert; and her parents, Stuart and Ruth.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on January 1, 2024, at 3pm.
