Helen married her husband Bobbie A. Dayberry while he was serving in the United States Air Force. She raised their three sons; Scott, Craig and Brett and had lived in Colorado Springs since 1973.
She enjoyed reading, writing inspirational quotes, taking long walks, meeting with friends, bird watching and spending time in the great outdoors.
Her passion was her family. She cared for all of them as well as others. She always put the needs of others before her own. When her husband Bobbie passed in 2018 after being married for over 63 years, she loved being with her children, going on long drives with them and going out for Chinese food.
She is survived by her sons; Scott (wife Karen), Craig and Brett (wife Kathy); by her three grandchildren, Brennan (wife Madge), Ryan (wife Chelsea) and Nicole; and by her two great-grandchildren, Lizzy and Monica.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents Al and Gertrude, and by her husband, Bobbie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2315 Bott Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904 (303) 813-1669 Ext. 201.
