She is survived by her husband, Larry, two sons Glenn (Karin) and Ronald of New York, NY, two granddaughters, Ashley (Brian) Willey, Samantha Frazier and one great-granddaughter, Avirey Willey. She is also survived by one sister, Connie Adams of El Paso, Texas, three brothers, Phil Vasquez and Robert Vasquez of Redwood City, California, Henry Vasquez of Roswell, New Mexico, several nephews and nieces.
Helen was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Her hobby was painting and decorating bird houses and also painting various figurines and Christmas ornaments.
A Memorial Service is planned for Helen on Thursday, September 27th at 10:00 am at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Helen’s name be made to the Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.
