

Hope Lynette Evans, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister fell asleep and awoke in the loving arms of Jesus, Saturday, April 12th. Her passing was due to a sudden cardiac event. She felt no pain and had no knowledge of her passing until she awoke in the presence of a loving God.
Hope married Brian James Evans on October 15, 1994. She became the proud and adoring mother to Cheyanne Jewel and Skyler Charles.
Hope was born on April 25, 1967 to Charles and Peggy Coffman. She is the sister of Chamene Coffman and aunt to Stetsen and Ashtyn. Hope is the much loved daughter-in-law of Kay Evans Wright and Martin L. Evans.
She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She worked in the investment profession until the birth of her children. She left behind her growing career to devote her time and life to her children, family and God.
The Care Calendar Food Ministry at the Eastside Church of Christ was very important to Hope. She traveled three times on mission trips to the Ciudad de Angeles orphanage in Mexico. She looked forward to returning and to her first trip to Guatemala next year.
Hope’s love, passionate faith, and compassion touched the lives of many. Her passion for missions and compassion for others is reflected in her children and the husband whose life she changed.
Our Hopie will continue to forever be loved by all whose lives she touched.
