Joanna Parker

JoAnna married the love of her life, Jerry Parker, and Jerry and JoAnna had three children.

JoAnna had experience in a number of diverse career fields. Her most favorite was caring for her children and taking care of her family. Family was very important.

She had many different talents and hobbies. She was a stellar seamstress and loved sewing and making projects. One of her favorite past times was to crochet little baby dresses for little ones. By far one of her favorite things to enjoy was being around babies. She was known for her down home, delicious cooked meals she would prepare. JoAnn was the token Social Butterfly, everywhere. Church, home, out and about, just to name a few. She loved connecting and chatting with people everywhere she went.

JoAnna is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and sisters, and 1 grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jerry; her children; Rhonda Embres of Colorado Springs, Cherie (David) Porras of Flagstaff, Arizona, Phillip (Linda) Parker of Colorado Springs; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service for Joanna will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Living Hope Church, 640 Manitou Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
